DESIGN FOR PRINT - REQUIREMENTS

It is important for you to always check your work before it is sent to print.

To make things a little easier, here are a few useful "design for print" requirements...

FILE FORMAT

Always save your files as PDF.

This eliminates room for error.

If you wish to supply an open file, please package it with the fonts and linked images.

IMAGE DPI

Images need to be set to

300 dpi (high resolution).

Saved as tiff, jpg or eps for best results.

COLOUR MODE

CMYK

Colour mode needs to be CMYK, unless a better results are found using RGB.

SPELLING

Always check your spelling.

We can't be held responsible for typo's.

COLOUR PROOFING

Be sure to sign off a colour proof.

Colour is not always consistent with the Digital Printing process, so we highly recommend that you check a colour proof before running your full job.

We unfortunately can't be held responsible if a proof was not signed off.

BLEED & CROP MARKS

Always export your files with bleed and crop marks.

This allows us to cut and finish your work accurately.

Make sure your document is setup to the correct size.

This eliminates room for error.

We print on the following paper sizes

SMALL FORMAT

A4 = 210 x 297 mm

SRA4 - 225 x 320 mm

A3 = 297 x 420 mm

SRA3 = 320 x 450 mm

320 x 483 mm

320 x 660 mm

OTHER SIZES

DL = 99 x 210 mm

BUS CARDS = 90 x 50 mm

BUS CARDS = 85 x 53 mm

LARGE FORMAT

The paper size all depends

on the substrate.

We can print up to

3200 mm Wide.

POSTER SIZES

A2 = 420 x 594 mm

A1 = 594 x 840 mm

A0 = 840 x 1188 mm
